Terah

He lived in two cities. Ur of the Chaldees and Haran.

He had three sons, Haran, Nahor, and Abram and one daughter, Sarai.

Terah was an idolater.(1) When his son Abram was commanded by God to leave his country. Terah joined his son in leaving Ur of the Chaldees. However, when they arrived in Haran Terah was too old and tired to continue the trip. Abram remained with his father until Terah died at the age of 205.
